Let’s Paint – 1
Hello everyone 🙂
Welcome to the first of my online tutorials – aimed at keeping everyone painting during a potentially long period of being at home. I welcome you to ask me any questions, show me your work – never feel alone! I hope to inspire you to pick up your brushes. Art can be therapy – beautifully absorbing and relaxing.
This tuition is completely free and without any obligation at all. If you do want to purchase a pack of greetings cards from the website to help me with time and costs, that would be awesome, but no need to, if you don’t want to.
Without further ado…here is what we need for the appleblossom:
Just five paints. I am using Daler Rowney, Ultramarine Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Lemon Yellow, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna. (Windsor Newton Lemon Yellow, doesn’t work quite so well with this palette). Play with the paints you have.
Paper: Saunders Waterford 300gsm size approx 12 inches x 12 inches.
Brushes: Round size 14 and 6
(If you want to use smaller paper, smaller brushes would be best).
